The Gift Of Music
Updated: Dec 24, 2020
Christmas music has been a constant in our lives through good years and some very bad years. Going back to WW2, just seventeen days after the attack on Pearl Harbor, Bing Crosby gave his first live performance of a new song called “White Christmas”. With that one song, songwriter Irving Berlin captured (and in some ways even defined) the feeling and sprit of the holiday season… and remarkably this beautiful piece of Americana was written by a Jewish, Russian immigrant!
We know that this has been a truly horrible year for everyone in the world and this holiday will be one of the most difficult ones we’ve ever had (especially for those who have lost a loved one.)
So, the only thing we can offer up this year is the gift of music…more specifically Christmas music. The enclosed holiday card includes a list all the Christmas songs that have been the soundtrack to all of our lives…through good times and bad.
Click here to enjoy all of this wonderful Holiday music and classic Christmas imagery and hopefully by this time next year, we’ll all be on a better path.
